Tarbiyya Curriculum

One module teaches one character strength. Each module includes:

• Three traditional stories that teach the character strength, with comprehension questions to guide understanding
• A song that teaches the character strength
• Three cultural activities that teach the character strength, including games and handcrafts
• Three child-friendly magazines that provides direct instruction on the cultural strength by a super-hero
• Home Connections: Discussion questions and activities that children can do with their families to reinforce their learning
• A celebration for children to remember and honour what they have learned about the character strength
• A teacher’s guide with step-by-step procedures for delivering each lesson and guidance on discussions that will enhance learning and character development
